2012 Sketch Dump Page 1

Thus begins the journey through the sketch book in which I drew from January to October 2012.

These first few pages were dedicated to some original characters of mine. I've had ideas for them for a long time, but haven't felt confident in my artistic abilities to do anything with them. These were drawn long before I had a very clear understanding of anatomy and form (although by this time I had learned a few things from observing other artists, so I wasn't a complete idiot). I still had a lot to learn.

Now that I think of it, these were all drawn before most of my watchers knew me. I didn't start drawing ponies until... well, you'll see.
