I lied. I never took a break. I was working on this the whole time I was doing my 30-day Species-a-Day challenge ([link]).
Guess I was naive enough to think people might start taking an interest in my other art. Oh well. When the feedback messages get low, post ponies!

Finished 6/29.

Painted on a Nintendo DSi XL with Art Academy.

This is good.

I have to admit, pictures of insects, while interesting, are not my preferred form of artwork. That being said, now I'm thinking about how much work finding a different species each day in a good position for photography could be, I may understand your disappointment that people didn't pay attention to them.

Thanks. :)
It certainly wasn't easy. A lot of the pictures I took after a long day's work in a hot kitchen, and I did not feel like being out in the oppressive, humid heat. But I just made myself do it, and the real reward is the feeling of satisfaction for a project completed. I can be content with that.

Wow!! Might be your best one yet... I dunno. Either way I love it.

You say people aren't interested in your other art? Hm, I don't know - I think you should post whatever the heck you want.
